How to get Free Education in South Africa 2022/2023?

 

Hatch is active in three significant industries, namely:
energy (which includes the upstream, midstream, and downstream production of oil and gas; nuclear, renewable, hydropower, thermal, transmission, and distribution; and smart grid and grid modernization);

infrastructure (which includes rail & transit, highways & bridges, transportation & logistics, ports & terminals, aviation, tunnels, urban solutions, and water); and lastly,

metals & minerals (which include gold, silver, diamonds, copper, coal, and iron ore.

Hatch is inviting students to apply for their bursary program for the 2023 academic year.

Bursaries will be awarded for Chemical Engineering (BSc or BEng).

 

  • The HATCH BURSARY PROGRAMME-EXPENSES COVERED, OTHER BENEFITS & SELECTION.

The following expenses—tuition, housing, and allowances—will be covered by the bursary. Along with receiving additional support services while they are studying, students can also participate in summertime employment.

The following benefits are also available to Hatch bursary recipients:

  • Receive formal and informal mentorship from leaders and authorities within the industry. You will work alongside people from different cultures and countries across the global organization.
  • Acquire project experience in South Africa and around the world. After graduation, you will be offered opportunities to pursue career paths in energy, infrastructure, mining & metals, or digital sectors.
  • Take part in local professional development programs after graduation. Use your engineering qualifications in an exciting working environment, which will allow you to use them in traditional sectors or emerging and innovative industries.

candidates must meet the minimum entry requirements listed below (please note that if you do not meet all of the requirements, your application will not be considered):

  • You must be a South African citizen.
  • You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric.
  • You must be studying or intending to study toward a BSc or BEng in Chemical Engineering by 2023.
  • You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
