About TEMESA

The United Republic of Tanzania (URT) established the Tanzania Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics Sendees Agency (TEMESA) as a public organization by issuing Government Notice Number 254 on August 26, 2005, to assume the responsibilities formerly carried out by the Ministry of Works’ Electrical and Mechanical (E & M) Division. The Agency was established in accordance with the goals of Act No. 30 of 1997, which included improving recipients and boosting operational effectiveness and efficiency.

The agency’s overarching goal is to offer the general public reliable and safe ferry service as well as effective and efficient electrical, mechanical, and electronic service. The agency also aims to offer trustworthy and high-quality equipment rental services to the general public and government organizations.
