Mkataba Mpya Wa Yanga Sc Na Sportpesa: A 3yrs Contract

Yanga Sports Club has signed a new 3-year sponsorship deal worth 12.3 billion shillings ($4.1 billion). The deal is an increase of 2 billion shillings annually ($1 billion) from SportPesa Tanzania’s previous yearly contract of 1 billion shillings.

In addition to the money Yanga will receive, Tarimba has stated that incentives will be given as outlined in the deal, if Yanga becomes Premier League champion, he will receive a $150 million bonus.

Yanga being the victor of the Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC) will be given 112 million dollars as a prize. The new contract comprises different conditions, such as if Yanga wins the Semi-Finals of the ASFC, they will receive a prize worth 75 million.

Young Africans SC’s excellent performance in the previous seasons has increased the club’s value, so the recently signed five-year contract yielded Young Africans 5.2 billion Tanzanian shillings or about 1 billion annually, Mr Tarimba told reporters. However, he added that the club’s performance has resulted in increased revenue in the recently concluded contract.

The previous arrangement between Yanga SC and Sportpesa was for Tsh 5.B in equal measure to Tsh 1 Billion for five (5) years throughout the duration of the contract, ie for five (5) years.
