Our first on the list of top law schools in Tanzania is the University of Dar es Salaam.

This is one of the oldest public universities in Tanzania that became functional in 1961 with the Faculty of law (school of law) as its first program.

The school of law campus, of the University of Dar es Salaam, is located at Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere Main Campus.

Admissions into the law school of the University of Dar es Salaam are often launched twice a year, during May and October respectively.

Tuition Fee

Tuition fees (school fees) for law schools vary across the globe. Undergraduates Students from Tanzania are required to pay a full tuition fee of 1,300,000 (TZS) while individuals out of Tanzania are to pay a tuition of $2700.

Postgraduate master’s student’s tuition also varies; Tanzania residents are required to pay a sum of 6,950,000 (TZS) while international students are required to pay a sum of $4,440.
