Kanuni Mpya Ligi Kuu Tanzania 2023/2024

The BOARD of the Tanzania Premier League (TPLB) informs you that the Executive Committee of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) meeting held on August 9, 2022 in Arusha, has adopted improvements to the League Rules for the 2023/2024 season.

These Play Rules and Regulations have been put into place to promote the highest level of competition and fair play as well as to provide understanding among Tanzania Football Federation Members regarding the conditions of play in accordance with the FIFA Statutes and the Laws of the Game.

When one or more issues are not sufficiently addressed in these play rules and regulations, provisions from the pertinent FIFA Statutes shall take precedence. If not, other applicable TFF and FIFA Statutes and Principles shall be applied in addition to or in conjunction with these Playing Rules and Regulations.

 

Improved NBC Premier League Regulations 2022/23

• One of the improved areas is the number of foreign players allowed to be recruited and used in one League game. The new rules allow clubs to register a maximum of 12 players and use up to 12 players (all) in one game.
• The changes come into effect immediately after this announcement, including the Community Shield game between Young African SC and Simba SC on August 13, 2022.
• Clubs have the responsibility to follow and implement all the conditions and procedures for the registration of foreign players set by the TFF, including the laws of the country and the procedures for working in the country before they start using those players.
• The Secretariat of the League Board continues and when the input process is completed, they will be sent to all stakeholders including participating clubs

Number of matches NBC Premier League | Idadi Ya match Ligi Kuu Tz Msimu 2023/2024

A total of approximately 240 games are expected to be played in the upcoming season of the Premier League on 22/23 where a total of 120 games will be played at home for each team while the other 120 games will be played away.
